Inspired By Passion

The mission of the New Jersey Workshop for the Arts

“Where talent develops and creativity thrives”

is to enrich lives by providing opportunities to develop creative talents and appreciation of the arts through instruction and performance.

We will never turn anyone away because they can’t afford it. We’re a non-profit, but we will find a way for everyone to study no matter their situation.

Art History Classes

A hands-on, fun workshop for kids where we will explore different artsistic movements in history! Everyone will get to make their own pieces of artwork as we learn from Picasso, Frida, Pollock and more. Learning about art helps kids to fan the flame of their own creativity, explore healthy outlets for emotions, and find joy in life.

Music theory class

This is an excellent opportunity to develop and sharpen your understanding of the basic elements of music in a multi-modal, fun, and social atmosphere.  Both classes are taught by master teacher Helen Ryba who also teaches piano and classical voice at the NJ Workshop for the Arts.
